         Econ Lit - Basic index to journal articles on economics. 
         Academic Search Complete - Indexes many are full text magazines and journals
         JSTOR   -  A rolling backfile with full text of 37 economics journals, going back to issue 1
         and coming up to about 5 years ago.
         Lexis-Nexis  Academic Universe. All full text.  A very rich source, Lexis-Nexis indexes
         approximately 5200 magazines, newspapers, and other sources, most going back
         as far as 20  years.

New York Times - Historical - Full text of the New York Times from its inception in 1851.
Wilson Indexes - Includes Social Sciences Index; some full text since 1996

Worldwide Political Science Abstracts1975 - present  - A basic index for journal articles in political science, international relations, law, and public administration/policy.  Some full text.

Locating journals can be tricky, difficult, and generally exasperating.  If you run into trouble, a reference librarian will be glad to assist you.
