         Statistical Universe on Lexis-Nexis - Another good starting place for statistics on the Web .
         United Nations Statistical Division - A gateway to statistics on member states.

            internet margin notes, key concepts, flash cards, and more

          Gross Domestic Product - Select the latest press release in PDF format.
          Employment Situation Report - Select National Employment, then Economic
            News releases, then Employment Situation Report in PDF format.
          Consumer Prices - Select Consumer Price Index, then Economic News Releases,
          then Consumer Price Index in PDF format.

         Econ Lit - Basic index to journal articles on economics
         Academic Search Complete - Indexes around1600 magazines and journals;
         many are full text

         JSTOR   -  A rolling backfile with full text of 37 economics journals, going back to issue 1
         and coming up to about 5 years ago
         Lexis-Nexis  Academic Universe. All full text.  A very rich source, Lexis-Nexis indexes
         approximately 5200 magazines, newspapers, and other sources, most going back
         as far as 20  years.

New York Times - Historical - Full text of the New York Times from its inception in 1851.

Worldwide Political Science Abstracts1975 - present  - A basic index for journal articles in political science, international relations, law, and public administration/policy.  Some full text

IV.   Locating Journals

At Wittenberg:

At Other Ohio academic libraries:
        OhioLINK Central Catalog  (Note: you cannot get periodicals via OhioLINK;
                    use Interlibrary Loan instead.

Locating journals can be tricky, difficult, and generally exasperating.  If you run into trouble, a reference librarian will be glad to assist you.

      Global macroeconomic and financial policy site - Updated daily, this site
            has three main divisions: Current News, Hot Topics, and Interesting Readings.
       Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean - From the United Nations,
            this site includes press releases, interviews, speeches, as well as PDF versions of
            relevant publications, including the Economic Survey of Latin America and the
            Caribbean, Foreign Investment in Latin America and the Caribbean, and
            Social Panorama of Latin America. (Choice Reviews)
