SocINDEX with full text - Index, abstracts, and full text covering sociology.

Academic Search Complete  Probably the best place to look for information on current events.  A quarter to a third of the database is full textReplaces Periodical Abstracts.

Lexis-Nexis - Almost all full text.

Women's Studies International - Indexes multidisciplinary scholarship in feminist research.
Contemporary Women's Issues 1988-June 2006   Almost entirely full text.
Ethnic NewsWatchFull text of newspaper, magazine, and journal articles from the ethnic, minority, and native press
GenderWatch - Full text of publications that focus on the impact of gender across a broad spectrum of subject areas.  Includes both scholarly and popular sources.

Interlibrary Loan form for journal articles
Locating journals can be tricky, difficult, and generally exasperating.  If you run into trouble, a reference librarian will be glad to assist you.
