Ingenta

Ingenta is a on-line table of contents and research alerts service available at www.ingenta.com. This services will email you the tables of contents of journals you select. The Research Alert option periodically emails you citations to recently published articles that match the search parameters that you have choosen. Ingenta has grown to include over 27,000 publications.

To set up a new account, go to the web site listed above. Click successively on the Register button then on the Personal button and fill in the required information. We recommend that you register at an on campus computer so that you to be recognized as a Wittenberg user. Checking the appropriate box at the bottom of the registration screen will allow you to access Wittenberg's subscriptions. Click Continue at the bottom of the screen. You can then select My Table of Contents, to select tables of contents you would like sent, and/or My Research Alerts, which allows you to save searches against which database updates are run. All results will be emailed to you. Any citations that are retrieved to which Wittenberg has full text access will be linked to from the email. Ingore any messages about payment options; this refers to buying the full text articles, not receiving email alerts.
