| Honey (Fall ) Harvested September through October, Fall honey is rich and robust, with a depth of flavor and a dark amber color. The bees visited goldenrod and aster flowers, as well as other fall-blooming wildflowers.
Honeyrun Farms located near Williamsport, is run by Wittenberg graduate Isaac Barnes. The honey is produced using no chemical pesticides; Isaac relies on a mixture of garlic and mineral oil to control mites, but he hasn’t yet come up with a plan to control which plants the bees gather pollen from.
